Scenario #1
Anna Anderson
Anna loves her home, but her lease is up soon and she has to move out. She has lived there for many years, including when she was in college. She now works from home as well. Her apartment is where she spends most of her time. She currently lives in a one bedroom apartment. It is a basement apartment that doesn’t get a lot of sunlight. It is also small to have company over. She wants to find a place where she feels comfortable inviting guests over. She also wants sunlight so she can grow plants. She has one cat. The amenities included at her apartment are air conditioning and washer/dryer. She doesn’t have a dishwasher and all of the furniture is her own. Her search criteria when search for an apartment is as follows:
- Pet friendly - because she has a cat.
- 2 Bedroom - she's ready to have a room as an office instead of having her computer in her living room.
- 1st Story or above - she wants more sunlight
- Washer and Dryer
- Dishwasher would be nice, but not necessary
- She would love an apartment overlooking the beach, but not necessary
- Maximum rent price is $2,200/month
- She does not want any roommates

Scenario #2
Joe Conway
Joe Conway is an older gentleman that lives in a small home with his wife. Both of them are retired and spend a lot of time at home. They often spend their time reading, watching tv, and gardening. Joe is looking to sell his recliner chair. He is a retired fireman that is looking to just relax during his retirement. His wife got him the old recliner as a gift a few years ago. He recently saw a fancy one at a furniture store that he wants to upgrade to. Joe spends a lot of time in his chair and feels like the upgrade is worth it. The old recliner is leather, where the new recliner will be fabric and have a cup holder. It’s a perfectly good chair in his mind. He doesn’t want to throw it away or give it away. The chair was originally $800 and feels like it’s still worth something because it is in good condition. He wants to list his recliner on sale as follows:
- Title of post - "Brown leather sofa for sale"
- $300 firm
- 3 years old
- Great condition
- Only selling because I am gifting myself a new one
- Heavy
- NO delivery, must pick up
